If you are reading this: I'm stunned and impressed! Never thought, anybody would read it... *g*. Okay, here we go.
I was born in 1981 and I'm now studying computer science at the "TU Braunschweig (Technical University of Brunswick)". For eight years, I visited the "Albert - Schweitzer - Gymnasium" in Ruhla, the town I live in. I don't think anybody knows this small town. It's in Thuringia (Germany) near Eisenach.
Curious what I look like? Take a look here.I have a two years younger sister, Christiane,
who's also a Sentinel Fan... Unfortunately she's a Blairbabe :-)
Before you ask: no, I don't have any pets (though I would like to have a cat).
Of course, I don't only watch TV or write Fan Fiction. I also read a lot - no,
that's an understatement, I'm an addict to Fan Fiction and I *love* the books
written by Diana Gabaldon, John Grisham, William Shakespeare (yeah, I really
mean *this* William Shakespeare <bg>) and Wolfgang Hohlbein (and some other
authors)...
I also like to swim, to talk to friends (especially on the phone), playing table
tennis, darts and bowling, and going to the cinema (my mother says it's my "second
home").
Due to my father I began watching "Star Trek" early. I think I was 8 years old, and I grew up with "Star Trek: The Original Series" and "Star Trek: The next Generation". Though my favorites are "Voyager" and "Deep Space Nine".
Then I saw one episode of the "X-Files" and couldn't stop watching it.
But I think one of the greatest Sci-Fi Shows ever is "Babylon 5". I always loved the atmosphere. And the story arc is amazing.
And then, in 1997 a new show was aired in Germany. It was called "The Sentinel" and it was about a guy with five heightened senses. Being always interested in American Indians and anthropology I thought I could watch the pilot. And what I saw there was amazing! From the first moment Sandburg and Ellison met (I mean the "real Sandburg" not "Dr. McKay" *g*) you could feel the potential of their beginning friendship. From this moment on I fell in love with this show.
Other TV shows I watch on occasion are "Scarecrow and Mrs. King", "High Tide", "Early Edition", "Seven Days", "Viper", "Emergency Room", "Pretender", "PSI Factor", "Outer Limits", "One West Waikiki" (this guy's really handsome) and "The Twilight Zone".
As I said before, I love the cinema. My favorite actors? Here they are: Bruce Willis, Mel Gibson, John Cusack, John Malkovich, Will Smith, Samuel L. Jackson, George Clooney, Denzel Washington, Richard Gere, Julia Roberts, Lucy Liu... (and a *lot* more).
I listen to nearly every kind of music, except "Heavy Metal" and "Techno". I like songs from: Phil Collins, Travis, REM, Madonna, Bon Jovi, Santana, R.Kelly, Matchbox 20, TLC...
That's all folks! If someone really read this text and wants to know more: Ask, and maybe I tell you *g*.
